What Real or Legend is
Real or Legend is an archive of mysteries, organized into eight drawers: prophecy, urban legends, unsolved cases, myth, UFOs, anomalies, psychology and lost civilizations. Each file answers one specific question, such as “Is Kisaragi Station real?” or “Did the July 5, 2025 prophecy come true?”, and lays out what happened, where the claim comes from and what the evidence says today.
Why we do this
Mysteries travel fast, and their sources get lost along the way. A legend picks up new details each time it is retold. A prophecy’s date passes and almost nobody goes back to check. We want to put these stories back where they can be verified: the original words, where they first appeared and what happened next.
Files and stories
Files cover claims that really circulated and events that really happened, with sources for the key facts. Some files link to an interactive story that starts from a real legend or rule and lets you make the choices. The stories are fiction and the files are not, and the site labels them separately.
Where the topics come from
We pick mysteries, science questions and prophecies that people have discussed for years, including popular topics from Chinese-language video creators. Real or Legend is independent and has no official connection to those creators. Related video links are there for further viewing, and the views in those videos belong to their makers.
How the files are written
Files are compiled by the Real or Legend editors. We use AI tools to help search and draft, and an editor checks facts, dates, quotes and verdicts against the original sources before a file is published. The How we check page explains the process and what each stamp means.
